Concussion Program

Today’s active population is more susceptible to concussion and brain trauma than ever before. Information and education about head injuries are key to living a safe and healthy life. We cannot wait until our children collapse on the eld or court to begin talking about this epidemic.

The Princeton Concussion Institute's Concussion Program is specifically designed for athletes participating in Contact/Collision Sports, and for other individuals who are active in high risk activities or occupations.

Our ImPACT Team recommends the evidence-based guidelines below for determining which athletes should be given a baseline test. We recommend that Contact/Collision sport athletes receive a baseline, whereas NORMATIVE DATA can be used for all other injured athletes.

For team sports, this means pre-season baseline testing typically administered at the high school.
